I just posted the the residents of Berbice do not truly understand the power of their votes and are being taken for granted by the government.
Suicide, alcohol and spousal abuse are also big issues in Berbice. This government just wants the votes from Berbicians and just disappear after the election.
They are busy building hotels while the mental health of Berbicians are buried under the carpet. The mentally ill are being kept away from the public eyes by hiding them in the old "Big House".
It is about time that someone speak out on the issue of the mentally ill in Guyana, especially Berbice.
They assume that Berbicians will be happy after the Bridge is built, but the bridge was only one of many problems affecting Berbicians.
