it is a truth that hurts deeply. I feel very sorry for those stupid people who only speak English.

I feel sorry for those kids that New Yorkers raise to speak five language by age ten. Its freaking child abuse to have a child literally live with a nanny speaking a different language every two years so they can master 5 language by age ten...

I know. When English is your mother language you are so crippled to learn any other language that any attempt to it feels like torture.quote:Originally posted by sachin_05:quote:Originally posted by Lucas:

English is a second language to creoles for most Guyanese. We speak English only in formal occasions ( or at least try to speak it!)quote:Originally posted by Lucas:

No lucas. We are "crippled" by the fact that almost every one else can speak English so we have no need to learn their languages.

Up to now I can never understand British people when they speak. They have corrupted their own language. I have to put on closed caption whenever I look at British movies.
They also love to use the phrase "bugger me". I think they are all homos over there except Sunil

You seem to take pride in the fact that your brain is not developed.

Given that English speaking people run the world's richest and most efficiently run nations I hardly think so.
Now tell us why Brazilians will kill each other over a game that is British in origin?

Why would it feel like torture? If there is the need to learn another language you will learn it.

They feel in disadvantage because they only speak English, while immigrants and visitors always have a choice. Non-native speakers can speak English or speak in their own language to not be understood. Native speakers can only achieve this by corrupting their own language. You notice this practice of corrupting their own language to encrypt it in the 5 anglo-saxon countries: Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.quote:Originally posted by TI:
