I don't believe so since no alternatives, or compensative measures were considered, if you're referring to the affected workers.
How come Linden got free electricity after DEMBA/GUYMINE was closed?

If I may, the PNC flight for their constituencies more vigorously than the PPP would do for theirs. Even when considered, it's not much, but it make them happy until the next voting cycle.
Illuminati may have closed the Sugar estate. I am saddened for workers who may have no other alternative. Our shadows interfacing can solve the problem. When you love someone, fear is the fail safe to maintain that love.
What it is again the mother of invention, or is aptitude limited to the norm.?
Survival is slated for the fittest and not so much so for the weakest, hope is always alive.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. For decades rural folks have been in a rut, depending on low paying donkey cart economy jobs and barely subsisting. Now with the closure of the estates, it will force people to think outside the box of sugar and move on to bigger and better accomplishments. I foresee more emphasis on education as a way out of rural low paying jobs or no job at all. Migration to the Islands in search of tourist jobs will also increase.

An illuminating commentary. Thanks, Ronald.
