– as legal advice tendered; farmers prepared to fight
In a letter seen by Guyana Times, farmers were instructed by Attorney-at-Law and Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) Chairman Omadatt Chandan to “quit and deliver possession” of their land. However, these farmers and their legal representatives are taking a stand against it.

Scumbag Moses lied to Rice Farmers and Sugar workers. Sugar workers and Rice farmers should demand that the surgeons put a Butt Plug in him as payback for his lies and failed promises to them.

Bro, it seems the poor hardworking Indians in Guyana are feeling the brunt of the Government's decisions. Whatever happened to charity in Guyana, there are so many folks there who are well off and it seems no one is helping these poor farmers. These pictures tell a thousand words.

Moses is riding first class and chartering planes at the expense of the poor working class that he is now taking for a ride. The poor has no recourse and support in Guyana. I commend Anil for standing up for these poor farmers.
Granger and the PNC will drive them into the ground.
Yuji failed to mention when Jagdeo had a bellyache, he chartered a private jet on a return trip to Florida and back, which cost the taxpayers $US100K or more. Accountability is for everyone, not only Moses.

Why doan you volunteer your services as that butt plug?
On the surface, I don’t agree with the move to evict these farmers. What is the reasoning, is it the non-payment for certain fees and taxes?? Would be good to know more as to justification.
This is rice land and Black people don’t plant rice, in fact dem hardly plant anything. Don’t be surprised if a big Indian rice man not behind the move so he can take it and mass produce!
in the current pricing environment, what is needed is large scale farmers!
There is no hope even at HOPE.
Regarding planting, the AFC was good at planting false suspicions.
Two weeks ago GUYSUCO shut off the irritation system to the rice lands causing damage to over 20,000 acres of rice.
For those of you who never rented land you would not know how difficult it is to remove a non rent paying farmer despite him making huge profits. These notices don't mean a damn thing since there is no standing land court and the tenant can squat on the land another six years of not paying and thumb their noses at the government.

2000 acres of rice in danger as GuySuCo shuts off water
Some 20 farmers on the East Coast of Berbice, Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) are in urgent need of water for their rice fields, which are now cracking.
Guyana Times has been informed that the farmers’ plight is as a result of the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) shutting off the water supply.
