I was out all day at a funeral and wake.

I am bit tired but will go and attend if I can.

The fear mongering and hyperbole continues through the streets of New York City again today.  What have they achieved so far with protests and disruption?  Tourists in the city cannot even cross the street in peace.

I think you are right.  It is exactly that fear among Americans why Trump won the election.

Americans built their country with hard work for centuries.  Why should they just hand it over to foreigners, many of whom are hell bent on causing destruction?

Most Americans or their fore-parents are from somewhere else. They worked hard. So do recent immigrants. I do not think that immigration is equivalent to handing your country over to foreigners. Most immigrants start off by working at low level jobs and gradually improve their education and economic standing thru hard work and dedication.

Please post evidence if you have to prove the opposite. Also, when you say "many", are bent on causing destruction, how many are you talking about? Please be factual with the numbers you supply.

I don't see many blacks and indigenous people disrupting the peaceful transition of the American Presidency.  In fact, three of those countries on the ban list - Somalia, Libya, and Sudan are African countries.  The citizens of these three countries have displayed the utmost respect for the rule of law. I have not seen a Somalian protest, a Libyan protest, or a Sudanese protest.

Thank you.  And likewise, I respect your views and opinions on this forum even though we may differ at times.  It doesn't mean that one is right and one is wrong.  Sometimes we see things from different perspectives. I deeply appreciate your comment there.

The Department of Homeland Security has compiled lists of thousands of people who are a threat to the national security of the US.  I am not against immigration.  I am against people who were granted the privilege of living in a country that is not their birth country, and then they turn around and break the law, and disrespect the President of that country.

The United States has been the most generous country on this planet. For people to disrupt daily life because an election didn't go their way is unacceptable.

Is not peaceful demonstrating the right of any American? Of those who hold Green Cards. Are there some fundamental rights enjoyed by Americans - free speech, right of assembly, peaceful demonstration, etc. not enjoyed by people who are not born in the US but are naturalized Americans, Green Card holders, visitors, students on student visa? The anarchists and some others will take advantage of planned peaceful protest to carry out acts of violence.

How much disruption of daily life is actually happening?

Is being on this list of thousands a measure of someone's guilt?
