The VHP party of Suriname is now tapping the New York market for support and messaging in its bid to oust Desi Bouterse in the general elections next year.

Last night there was a fund raiser at the Palace on Liberty Ave and 130 St in
Richmond Hill. Good to see the Surinamese presence growing in New York.

Vish I just passed by - a friend Ravi had called my wife to say he's there), but after a full day on the road with my wife's family and mine too (celebrating my birthday), we had to pass.
