Marwa Harb arrived in Canada last year after spending 3 years in Jordanian refugee camp

A teenage girl from Halifax met with Justin Trudeau yesterday to pass on a special message.

The Children's Wish Foundation flew 16-year-old Marwa Harb to Ottawa so she could thank the prime minister for saving her life. 

"When I first ... came to Canada here, I was asking, 'Who's helping us? Who's this man, who make this happen? Who saved my life? Who bring my life back?' Everyone told me, Justin Trudeau," she said. "He give me a better life and new future."

Harb said Trudeau gave her a tour of Parliament and she was able to thank him. 

Last year, Harb, her parents and seven siblings came to Canada as refugees after fleeing war in Syria.

Harb had spent three years living in a tent in a refugee camp in Jordan, a difficult situation made all the more challenging due to her scoliosis. She had a manual wheelchair but could barely walk and found it hard to get around. 

Plans to give back

In Canada, she was able to get the surgery she needed on her back as well as a new motorized wheelchair.

She said she now wants to study to become a lawyer so she can give back to her new country.

Mohammad Harb, Marwa's father, said moving to Canada has changed his family's life for the better.

"I'm very happy today because my daughter had this wish," he said. "It was a very nice day."

"My family and I was very happy when I came to Canada because a new life, a new future, a new everything — everything good. The people was very kind, the Canadian people."

Many Canadian immigrants and refugees of color are pissed off because they see these Syrian refugees being given special treatment by the Canadian government because they are white Arabs.  The bottom line has to do with increasing the white race in Canada.

How do you know this? I live in Canada and haven't heard of it.

These people need to thank Obama for playing footsie with Saudi who backed ISIS and other Wahabs to run rampant.   They should also thank Putin for intervening and ending their reign of terror.   And yes, thank Canada for offering sanctuary!!

I never sold insurance! I have done bigger and better things with my life in North America, of which you are yearning to know. so keep on guessing. If he did that then he is wrong also. Calling a fellow human being a retard is nasty, distasteful and outright insulting. I have heard of people with disabilities referred to as retard. Even if that is the case, people need to remind themselves that each one of us have some form of disability and we just don’t know it.

The majority of them are on welfare and are drug pushers in the Etobicoke area. Who do you think use to give Rob Ford drugs.

A mosque in North York offered a few Serians to prepare Taxes for the community @ $ 14. Per hour . They requested to be paid cash , the mosque refused and the Serians quit ... claiming they are better of at the hotel that the government offer . Their backside on welfare and we the tax payers have to pay for this . 

last summer , the Serians community request the city council to ban the air shows over Lake Ontario , claiming it reminds them of their war country .

On the West Coast of Demerara and on the Georgetown ferry there always be Syrians salesmen selling dress length and pants length, I remember they would put lighter fluid and scratch a match and the fabric would not burn, but when you wash the cloth it would shrink, long pants become short pants.They were good salesmen, everything they say just come off the boat.

The Somalis want everything handed to them. They have taken over the welfare housing projects. They do not want to integrate into society. They prefer to live off of the welfare system. The Donald will fix this soon. The people in St. Cloud MN don't want them there, claiming that they do not contribute to the city and they are there to only collect public assistance.
