Trinidad is a hot bed for ISIS.

Some sponsorship groups are concerned whether ISIS might be using  the refugee program to place their operatives overseas.

Canada want to sponsor 25,000 refugees before the end of this year. It seems an impossible task to screen applicants properly. One precaution is not allowing single men to apply.

That's right. There was a Syrian businessman on Lombard Street, running Riley's Store in the 1970s. I remember a travelling Syrian salesman named Deen in the 1960s. My father bought a Bulova watch from him.

Syrians have always been among us as traveling salesmen. We could use some pretty people to improve our gene pool. Too many Nehrus and Paul Jairams inbreeding and uglifying the place....not to mention making it dumber and dumber. We could use at least 50K!

Dem watch men visited  most estates.

One sales pitch to a cane cutta was ' look na, its five minutes past half past four'. After that he was called 'four-man'.

The watch stopped working a week later.

During me days at sea  a Japanese lady wanted smuggled gold  and diamond from Guyana. It was too scary after DEA in Brooklyn ripped off furniture from the wall  in cabins, looking for drugs and contraband.

Let those who are making their lives miserable help them.  Europe, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia/Gulf States and the USA.

Loads of refugees all over the world, not just Syrians. Should we help all of them?  Settling in refugees costs money. We don't have it.

African countries has been an issue with refugees for decades.

Granger said there is no room for Islamic terrorist in Guyana. He fully well know that Trinidadian are deeply involved and it's only 45 minutes away. What make Granger thinks that Guyanese can't become involved with ISIS? Is he shitting in his pants from the sound of terrorism?

Did you not see the salary Increases for the AFC/PNC politicians ?

How about Moses 100 million in salary, vehicle etc ?

Who says that Guyana cannot afford to bring in refugees ?

Guyana can easily afford 10,000 refugees. The economy is booming according to the AFC/PNC

yuji, resettling refugees is very costly. Canada is spending Cdn$678 million to resettle Syrian refugees. And Canada has lots of facilities for health care, education, skills training and other social services. Guyana lacks the capacity to provide the necessities of life for Guyanese, much less foreign refugees.

Arright, man. We have to be practical. Dem Syrians come from a land wid plenty oil money. They're accustomed to earning high incomes. The Guyana pay rate will make them run away. Uruguay in South America took some Syrian refugees last year. Already, many of them are running away because of low pay. Dem want reach Merika.

Can you sponsor a family of five? I will find them a place to live.

Guyana should accept family units, i.e. with kids.  No single men or women.  Furthermore, they should only accept non-Sunni as the Caliphate is for Sunni.

Guyana will get funding from the US/UN.  Many of these are skilled people who will contribute to Guyana once they learn English.

Most Muslims in Guyana are Sunni, base. Shia Syrians will automatically dislike them.

The Sunni-Shia hatred runs long and deep. In the Middle East and Pakistan they kill each other as if they are natural enemies.

Better question. Why more than half billion Hindus in India are treated like animals by the High class Hindus there?

I suppose you being a Muslim, I offended you , but what is happening in the world today is all has to do with Islamic terrorism, one sect fighting against another or they just want to convert the rest of the world. I am neither a Hindu or Muslim, so your question does not answer my question.
