And Canada has lots of facilities for health care, education, skills training and other social services. Guyana lacks the capacity to provide the necessities of life for Guyanese, much less foreign refugees.

Uruguay in South America took some Syrian refugees last year. Already, many of them are running away because of low pay. Dem want reach Merika.

In other words Guyana can hardly feed its own people rather than to lend a hand to anyone else. Most Muslims in Guyana are Sunni, base. Shia Syrians will automatically dislike them.
