That's why I buy my brown sugar from the West Indian stores and check where it was produced.

Amral once brought up the notion about Guyanese packaging on products from other countries selling in Canada. I for one don't really care which country the products are from, since it's hard to tell. I don't know of anyone who read labels keenly before buying Guyana products. The topic of tapping into the Diaspora, I hope the meeting was meaningful and comes to fruition. However, I don't know if this is going to make a tremendous impact on Guyanese in North America. Good luck, Vishnu.

Talking about that, I found the genuine Guyana cane sugar.  Enmore Crystals, manufactured by Guysuco, Ogle Sugar estates, ECD, Guyana.  It carries a 592 contact number!
