Inspirational speakers are just that, inspirational speakers. While they get paid, they get to evade any real deliverables. Nowadays too many time is wasted on these symposiums which produce some brief excitement and buzz but things go back to how they were very quickly. I am old school. I prefer more time and resources spent on real tangible training and less on these basically BS symposiums.

There is a reason while these presenters always begin their presentation with lots of theatrics and goofing around. It is intended to whip the audience into a frenzy so that they can be off guard enough to fall for the BS. Not discounting that these folks are accomplished but they can't fully truly change anyone's perspective given the fleeting time that they operate in. They arrive and leave like the storm and are soon off to their next destination. These things happen at my work place also and the bigger powers that be buy into and approve of it but they do nothing for the staff soon afterwards. We even had the dude with no hands and feet and I doubt anyone even remember him driving into the building and hopping onto the desk.

Richie is not just an inspirational speaker. That's his side gig. He's an I.T. Executive with "real deliverables". He's also a restaurant owner, an author and does a lot more than just inspirational speeches. Read his bio.
