President Obama goes at great lenght to explain that the west is not at war with Islam. However the damage has already been done by George Bush and Tony Blair with the invasion Of Iraq and Afghanistan.

If he was ran over then attacked it might have been difficult for him to fight back, depending on how serious the injuries were. The woman that left the bus and spoke to the killer is indeed brave. The question is when will these senseless killings stop?

I am at a loss to grasp what you are trying to say with abandoning wives etc. Those fellows just hacked a soldier to death while chanting a religious phrase and insisting they did it because their women and children are being murdered. That is the issue.

What does what Obama said has to do with what I said? Did I say anyone is at war with Muslims. I said there will be serious backlash on account of this.

America has a right to go out and find those who intend it harm. It is better than full scale war. If they hide in urban centers there will be casualty of innocents. I am fed up with the double standard with Israel but what the hell does that have to do with the brutal murder of a soldier walking down a street and one to which those cretin migrated to for a better life! If the Israel is to chance it will not come of murdering innocent people but by American input mostly. Note South Africans were not hacking Americans in NYC on account of Americans ambivalence to apartheid. In the end it was with the aid of Americans that it ended. Note America is just waking up to a reality it never envisioned in the middle of the last century.

The human toll from  the war on Iraq and Afghanistan is enormous. Death is only one aspect there are thousands of American soldiers who are damaged for life both physically and mentally. When clear heads like the Pope and others were warning about the dangers of this silly invasion by Bush and Blair, it fell on deaf ears.

This is not to lessen the barbaric nature of the crime or to justify the murder.  But when these European and other developed countries are in economic trouble they turn to exploiting Africa and other so call third world countries.  Look at when these former Eastern Bloc countries emerged from communism and needed US foreign currency quickly.
