The failure of the predominantly Indo-Guyanese PPP and the petite bourgeoisie who surround them (the BEES) was because they failed to used the state resources to improve the living standards of the Guyanese working classes.

This is not only Afro-Guyanese suffering in Guyana, Indo-Guyanese are punishing and overwhelmingly more than 60 percent of the Amerindian people living in poverty.

Guyana needs a new form of governance since the PPP has failed like the PNC before it.
