and the adoption of free market principles by countries formerly resistant to them was the single worst thing to ever happen to workers in the west;  It basically opened up about 1.2 billion of cheap labor headcount.

What would most benefit western workers right now is for Russia to revert to its communist ways and for western countries who signed trade agreements with China to scrap those agreements.
