If you are focusing on Guyanese on GNI, I personally believe they are all good people, but since they are behind a PC screen they get more power to BS than they are in real life. Guyanese will patently lug their empty bottles and candy wrappers to the nearest trash can in Europe and North  America. Imagine if they actually took the time to do the work to earn what they want! Actually, the few that do  are not the real estate moguls and trades people you see in the news. Everyone of you will acknowledge that is the crooked clan. You wont ever know the hardworking conscientious and dedicated law abiding Guyanese. That is because because the first thing they do u.s use their changeling skills to avoid being recognized as Guyanese or to be well off.  They know it is safer way. It is how you can exist in a world where even your kin will scam you.

Guyana is a lawless place where everyone who has no interest in following rules seeks to impose it on others. Over the years Guyanese have resorted to not oblige those obsessions. In foreign lands there is a very strong expectation of fairness and law abidance so we Guyanese don’t generally have a problem with falling into that mode. Guyanese politicians were at one time private citizens but being private citizens didn’t curtail their crookedness when they became politicians. That is because there aren’t any innocent Guyanese. Only ones who have or don’t have the ability to practice their crookedness.

Guyana is like most other 3rd world countries.  Sheer shyteholeism!

Here are my observations. 

Most Guyanese living in Canada and England seem different from Guyanese living elsewhere. They are law abiding and almost never display the rum shop behaviour which I witnessed in Queens, NY. No offence to anyone living there.

With the exception of Some Afro politicians,  most Afro Guyanese are much more civil, courteous and respectful of others than our Indo Guyanese. This goes back to colonial times where Afros gained more exposure in the civil services while most Indos slugged in the Farms and Rice field. Some of our brothers and sisters still display a cane cutter mentality.

Enforcement is crucial. If you enforce the rules and law with severe punishment they conform quickly. 

Just enforce the rules and laws with severe punishment and they will quickly abide.
