Indos don't need a track to run on. They chase cows in the savannahs. I know many good Indo athletes whose parents were rice and cattle farmers. I had a couple of classmates in high school.

Throughout the world, athletes of African descent have always excelled in different sports. I also noticed there are more black hockey players now.

So true, I used to play school cricket and I was the only Indo in the team. Indos did not want their children participating in sports and missing class.

I must admit that race was NEVER an issue while playing cricket with Afro friends, we are friends till this day.

A possible solution to the race problem in Guyana is more interaction among the races in areas like sports.
