It is with great sadness that I learned today of the passing of Mr. Pariag Sukhai. He will forever be remembered as a great PPP stalwart who cared very much about the poor people of Guyana. I first met him about 45 years ago at a rice farmers meeting. On behalf of myself and family I would like to extend to the Sukai family my deepest sympathy on this tragic loss. Mr. Sukai will always be remembered for his kindness to the Guyanese man and woman.
