That movie had the biggest rush in Guyana. Cars lined up for miles on both sides of East Coast Road to get in to Starlite Drive In Cinema. It was the first time I ever saw traffic backed up all the way to Plaisance. One irate Berbician heading home got caught in the traffic. He attempted to drive pass traffic by going down the slant of the road and got stuck. He could not drive up back  his car on the road.

Hey Mits & Don, are the singers Guyanese? They're really good. Never heard the song before.

When I got in the cinema the movie had already started and I recall it was this song was playing.  I believe they were on a donkey cart.

I don't remember the plot of the movie anymore. It was such a long time.

Leonora, Ramphal Sankar and Jasodra Singh are both Guyanese. Ramphal Sankar is the younger brother of former Magistrate Ramsarran Sankar who wrote the lyrics to this song. They lived in Prashad Nagar at that time. Jasodra Sing is from Triumph Village on the East Coast.
