The truth is history cannot be undone

Dear Editor,

Mr. F. Kissoon should have been around in the colonial days. He would have had a difficult time convincing the British and the Americans that Cheddi and Janet Jagan were not what they professed to be ideologically. Imagine him telling the Brits and Yanks at that time; “The PPP leaders simply do not practice what they preach and never did.” They probably would’ve told him to scoot.

Mr. Tony Veira and the other die-in-the–wool anti communists must be very upset with Mr. Kissoon. While they continue to push the communist bogey, Mr. Kissoon is at work seeking to undo what has been cast as stone by history. Mr. Kissoon is busy chipping away at historical facts; he will probably end up like Sisiphus.

The truth is history, it cannot be undone. You may try your utmost to revise it; however, such efforts will remain a mere revision, the real history will still stand and not the revision. After all, the revision is merely a point of view, a perspective. I think it should be Abe Lincoln who wrote “History is not History unless it is the truth”.

ONly Manley and CHeddi of the carabbean were unable to make the case. That is because they were what they were. Onc cannot blame them since Marxism has its intoxicating promise but unfortunately there was a line in the sand that is drawn and one had to stand on one side or the other of it. THey made their stand and they lost

This can't be true. He is armed with the mighty bastardized Burnham Constitution. If he wants to ditch them one by one for the good of the nation and to build a positive legacy for himself he can. So far he has used the bastardized Burnham Constitution to bull shit the opposition in Parliament. You also must remember only last week he continued from where Jagdeo left off at Babu John.
