Even the Taliban has problems with ISIS. Their aims are global jihadism. They will be wiped out as an entity holding territory in a year and it will take a bit more as its ranks in muslim communities are pruned. ISIS has never threatened the west with these murders. They threaten Islam.

One easy to curb the influence of ISIS is to find a way of shutting the internet on ISIS.

Like you are asleep ! The West is WAGING A WAR WITH ISIS.

I am still of the opinion that the west should not get involved in countries that has internal strive, let them duke it out.

I am still of the opinion that the west should not get involved in countries that has internal strive, let them duke it out.

I did not say that the West is not at war with ISIS? I'm quite aware of this. I'm just asking you if you still believe that the West should not continue fighting with ISIS as you stated previously that these terrorists should be left alone to duke it out.

That station should be resurrected with programs and speakers to explain to Muslims around the world that groups like ISIS is a terrible option on any given day. We have come to the point where a reawakening of who a true Muslim is so that people don't see groups like ISIS as representatives of Islam. Condemnation wouldn't work so they should keep Trump, Giuliani, etc. at home.

The station stepped back becaus of low viewership. I think they are reorganizing and coming back with a different name. I hope so because the name give it a bad persona as mullah TV. It was no. It had great reporters. and unique coverage.

to be honest you are in the weeds. Lacking ground and centers of organization it  will atrophy and die just like any of the hundreds of diseased philosophy the world has known across time. Mercantilism was a diseased philosophy. It allowed European to rationalize their predatory positions and genocidal wars. Believe it or not, the rise of capitalism saw the death of mercantilism and the rise of an enlightenment creed.

ISIS is a diseased philosophy and will die. However, Islam has the potential to breed more diseased philosophy given its lack of central authority and every mullah can create his own authority.

I hope so. Too many people were mad at us because of the Iraq war. Now it is a decade later and maybe some of that anger has dissipated. But this may be a good second start because something has to give because it is out of control.

Not true, they bought Al Gore station and rebranded it Al Jazeera USA.  Al Jazeera world is still rocking and covers mostly developing world affairs.

As long as they have half-way stop and go measures like Obama has employed, they will wait us out and conduct a war of attrition.  Donald Trump will go after them in earnest where ever, including their funders and supporters, wherever!  We also have to support secular Sunni nation and get them out from under the grip of the evil House of Saud!!  Only Trump has the git to look them in the eye, tell them they and evil and go after them!!

Where are they going to wait? In a few there will be no home base as they will not have any territory. The Saudi are nasty but you do not change them by carpet bombing the place. That is coming on its own inertia as people respond to its authoritarian regime.

You cannot leave some of these countries to duke it out because whomever has the weapons will win! Most of the time, the bad guy has the weapons because if the US leaves them alone, other countries like Russia and CHina end up arming the dictators. Not to say US has not armed dictators in the past, but in the current situation things are too messy to leave alone.

Show us. Show us what Trump can do more than Obama has done to squeeze ISIS's funds and demobilize its oil tankers movements and its hold on oil fields. Show us.

I know you're unable to show us, so I'll ask how can Trump move from Obama's "half-way stop" as you put it, to a full stop. What are these other measures? tell us! Send in the Marines?
