Ending months of speculation, Jagdeohoe announced that newly promoted Commodore BEST.  Also promoted were Colonel Andrew Pompey, Colonel Bruce Lovell, and Colonel Mark Philips. Colonel Pompey will be the new Deputy Chief of Staff, Lovell will be the Colonel, General Staff, and Philips will be remain in charge of administration and quartering.

Colonel Pompey has now left the GDF.

Today the GDF has:

1.  Briagdier Phillips;

2.  Brigadier Lovell;

Colonel Khemraj Persaud.

Gone are the Bunhumites:

The promotion of the officers meant that Lawrence Paul was overlooked to replace Collins, while Colonels Linden Ross, Frank Bishpam and Gordon Benn were superseded.

Lawrence Paul was a professional officer and thus was given a raw deal.
