Meanwhile the Coalition still twiddling their thumbs as well as Granger still trying to understand the simple English explanation which the CCJ issued regarding his arrogantly unanimous appointment of unfit and improper old man Patterson.

Resignation of Cabinet, new polls in 90 days among Jagdeo proposals to gov’t

Attorneys for Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo, Christopher Ram and Charrandass Persaud have proposed that the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) order that Cabinet, including President David Granger, resign and that a date be set for general elections within a three-month period as a result of the court upholding the validity of the no-confidence motion that was passed against the government last December.

Attorney Anil Nandlall, who is part of Jagdeo’s legal team, made the disclosure yesterday at a panel discussion at the Cheddi Jagan Research Centre in Georgetown, where he said the proposal had already been dispatched to the lawyers representing the Government of Guyana and the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) ahead of a hearing next Monday before the CCJ.

Nandlall, who is a former Attorney General, further disclosed that the attorneys have also proposed that the CCJ orders the appointment of a new GECOM Chairman and for the Opposition Leader to submit a list of names to the president within a specified timeframe in light of the court’s finding that the unilateral appointment of current office holder James Patterson was flawed and in breach of the constitution…..

APNU is the old PNC, it’s about getting back in power and stay in power regardless of what happens.. everyone can see this.

The PPP supporters will not hit the streets because their militant supporters have migrated or pass away during PPP government and the PPP did nothing during this time to keep their support base militant.

APNU see Jagdeo and his people as jokers, Jagdeo is all about press conferences and talks  and he would/ can’t do anything.

As a result of non aggressive supporters from the PPP, they will sit in opposition forever if they believe party paramountcy should be the presidential candidate.

Granger openly defied the constitution by his remarks. The CCJ can only pronounce on judgement. It’s the people’s power to enforce that judgment and where is PPP supporters.

Do you know what time on Monday the CCJ will convene to listen to the position of the parties and render their consequential order?

I believe it’s 1 or 2 PM.

1. Elections must be held within 90 days.

2. Extension to the 90-days time frame can be granted ONLY with the approval of a minimum of two-thirds of ALL members of parliament.

3. Appointment of GECOM Commissioner.

4. The time to appoint GECOM Commissioner DOES NOT affect the 90-day time frame for elections.
