My father ran the Timehri Agro Research operations for years.  They had successfully grown onions, potatoes, orid, soy etc.  a lot of these projects were sponsored/funded by USAID!  They had also grown several varieties of citrus, some of which had no seed.  They also grew Apple 🍎 trees but pollination was a problem so the yield was low!

Thanks to Burnham pissing off the USA it was never commercialized!
