Moses is indeed a lost soul trying to be relevant and seeking POWER
An election campaign is a gruelling thing. It takes a toll physically on the most robust politician. Some of them have learned to pace themselves suitably by trial and error. Some of them learn from the mistakes of others.
Now, where Khemraj Ramjattan is concerned, there is no doubt that he is giving all the energy he has got to this campaign. From morning to night seven days a week, hopping from one county to another, from one village to another. Ramjattan has to take a day off and recharge his battery.
At the Linden rally we saw the same thing happen to Sita Nagamootoo. I've known Sita since she and Moses went to live in Georgetown in 1971. She was usually a busy person, holding a teaching job, attending to four kids, managing a household that always had visitors, and then making time to join Moses in PPP group meetings. Right now she is accompanying him almost everywhere he campaigns, and it must me exhausting. I think she should have done what David Granger's wife did, and attend some events only.

Yes, dem is me people now.
Seriously, I played an active role as a volunteer, speaker and chairman of PPP elections campaign meetings in 1973 and 1985. You need a lot of energy to hold down your daytime job and then join the campaign waggon in the evening and weekends. Imagine what the full-time politicians go through.
Dr Cheddi Jagan had devised a method to conserve energy and hit the road fresh. After lunch he used to climb the stairs to the top floor at Freedom House and take 1-2 hours nap in a hammock. Then he would rinse his face in the washroom and get back to work looking fresh as morning.

His Mosa passed away and they have been attending the wakes too. He needs to take a day off certainly and regen his batteries.

I didn't know that, Mits. Thanks for saying.
Yes. Those campaigns are gruelling plus he has his legal work.
The worser problem is a PPP govt that fell asleep at the wheel when it comes to the interests of the working poor and, especially its rural supporters.
It is time to put the PPP to sleep.

The man tired. It is a right to sleep after 9 pm.
