You will throw the AFC/PNC boys into severe fits and convulsions, grab a spoon and put it in their mouth before they bite off their tongues. They don't like to see development, they will say that people don't need a bridge, bring back the ferry. ahahaha

The new Demerara harbor bridge was in the works a long time even before Ramjattan was crying about it. It is part of the Guyana mega projects. The PPP can multi-task by building the Marriott hotel, deep water harbor, free way from Lethem to GT, and the new bridge altogether. The new bridge will be better than Burnham floating pantoons and will have the PPP brand of excellence. This news will give all them anti-PPP more belly wuck, shittings and crying. Let's watch and see!

I guess TK and joker may have a negative take on this as usual. They seem to follow Ramjattan philosophy of taking Guyana back to the caveman days. APUN on the other hand is hoping to reestablish Guyline to oppress Indians once again. The AFC send a blackman to visit Indian farming...isn't that an insult? What the ass Blackman know about farming? Then we have that crook GR, that good-for-nothing German giving away six empty barrels to a dry spell village and have the entire KN press to tell the world how generous he is. ha, ha, ha...that's what the AFC is all about. You can't have it any better than that padna.

No I believe it is an extremely important project for the country at this time of its development. Can't say the same for knocking down an airport terminal and rebuilding one and the Marriott. I typically tend to frown on floating bridges but given all the waste from the inept PPP, only a floating bridge is plausible. These bridges are often very expensive to maintain. The only other cheaper alternative would be two synchronized roll on roll off ferries. If you people were not wasting and thiefing the people's monies, perhaps a permanent bridge like they have in Suriname might be possible at this point in the country's development. The traffic situation there is bad (that's my home town) and this project will make people's lives better. Guess we have to work with what we have - third worldism and all.

While the naysayers shed tears on Guyana, the country will move forward. Even TK resigned himself to finally acknowledging the massive development going on in the nation.  Pointer brain and the resident white man still can't swallow their pride to admit that the PPP brought them prosperity via exponential increases in the  land they own in Guyana.
