Guyanese love punishment. I have no sympathy for those who use charters. A charter is NOT a scheduled service so one mustn't be angry when it fails to deliver what a scheduled airline is obligated to provide. If a flight is canceled a charter company is under NO obligation to replace it.
Thanks to the PPP we don't have a proper airline to fly to Guyana. People punishing to get there and when you get here you may be held up by bandits on your way in or out. What a country. Yet their supporters on this site brag about the great success of the PPP. Guyana is the laughing stock of the Caribbean when it comes air travel. Long live the pee pee pee!!! Yet the former president has access to a private jet when he gets "belly wuk" to fly to Florida. Go figure!!!!!!!!

The only CARICOM countries with their own airlines is T&T and Suriname. Jamaica no longer has one.
I also remember that GAC was a one plane airline with frequent delays and BWIA offered lower fares. Indeed people even began to question how safe that plane was as it was old.
I don't know where all the fond memories came from.
It seems that there were delayed passenger at Timehri.
I was told Travelspan sent in a back-up AC to clear the Backlog.
Passengers were on board when the backup AC developed a Mechanical Problem.
Will update soon
I am not buying no ticket on any of these fly by night gypsy charters posing as airlines.
