The internet wasn’t as shocked about President-elect Donald Trump being named Time’s Person of the Year as they were about the magazine cover that accompanied the announcement.

On Wednesday, Time revealed its new cover, which featured a pensive Mr. Trump sitting in a chair inside his private residence at Trump Tower. Next to the photograph were the words: “Donald Trump: President of the Divided States of America.”

As Twitter users quickly scanned the cover, they noticed something peculiar in the way the magazine’s title was positioned over the president-elect’s head.

“Are those devil horns?” several users asked.

Huh....interesting.

Just spoke to my uncle who plans to retire in a couple of years...he said his 401k retirement savings has been rising since the last election. He did not vote for Trump but he likes whats happening to HIS retirement savings.

How much of this is attributed to Trump? I wonder.

V

Time put the letter M over President Trump's head.

M = Monetary Success.

M = Manu, the father of mankind.

Only an evil person will see evil over Mahatma Trump's head.

Yugi, you are using the word "Mahatma",too losely desecrating that Asian word.

President elect Trump doesn't deserve that title.

Read below.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mahatma

Did You Know?

Mahatma is an adaptation of the Sanskrit word mahātman, which literally meant "great-souled." As a general, uncapitalized English noun, "mahatma" can refer to any great person; in India, it is used as a title of love and respect. When capitalized, however, it usually refers to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the great leader who helped guide India to independence in 1947. Renowned for his policy of nonviolent protest, he was widely known as "Mahatma Gandhi" or "the Mahatma." The title was reportedly conferred on him by poet Rabindranath Tagore in 1915, but spiritual leader and author Paramahansa Yogananda claimed that Gandhi didn’t embrace it himself. According to Yogananda, Gandhi never referred to himself as "Mahatma," but rather "made some humble, and witty, protests about the title."

Origin and Etymology of mahatma

Sanskrit mahātman, from mahātman great-souled, from mahat + ātmansoul — more at atman

ma·hat·ma
noun
noun: mahatma; plural noun: mahatmas
  1. (in South Asia) a person regarded with reverence or loving respect; a holy person or sage.
    • Mahatma Gandhi.
      noun: the Mahatma
    • (in some forms of theosophy) a person in India or Tibet said to have supernatural powers.

Mahatma is a Great Soul. That's it.

I know my Sanskrit and Hindi inside out.

What are the chances of an ordinary soul becoming the President of the United States ?

The letter M above President Trump's head stands for Mahatma.

Think about it for a while.

Django, when you disagree when people called Trump shit head, then I will agree with you that Trump shouldn't be called mahatma. Until then, let the chips fall where they may.

If you read/listen to the news, even with an elementary schooling, you will realize it's all due to Trump!!  A Black woman said to me she voted Trump because if she wanted a preacher, she knows where to find one.  She is interested in investment and money.

You cane cutters will be swinging your cutlass even at you grow old and rich under Trump!  The hopelessness of Jagan's Socialism is embodied in many of you Trump haters!  You people, will never learn!

Bill Gross said Trump is good for the equity markets.  The history of the markets is one of stocks going in cycles.  Every boom is followed by a recession and vice versa.  I would not be naive' to believe that there is no possibility of a major market correction around the corner or another five years from now.  There will be a correction but it is very difficult to tell when. Think about the wrong predictions made by so many respected people on Wall Street.  A year ago our bad ass Stormy made an alarm about wealth evaporation.  The market went down almost ten per cent and recovered. Had you sold then you would have lost big time by missing out on the gains made so far.  It's just difficult for anyone to predict. Stay in for the long haul and you will make between 6% to 9%.

This market could go another 20% up before we see a pull back.  So far, the market has been excited since Trump won.  In a couple of years we will know for sure if the market likes Trump or not.  Hindsight is 20/20
