Trump slams Pelosi for visit to shuttered salon: 'Constantly lecturing everyone else'

'Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated,' president tweets

President Trump slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday for "constantly lecturing everyone else" after she visited a San Francisco hair salon earlier this week, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Fox News first reported Pelosi’s visit to the salon and obtained security footage, which showed her walking through the studio with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose. The stylist doing her hair can be seen following her wearing a black face mask.

EXCLUSIVE: PELOSI USED SHUTTERED SAN FRANCISCO HAIR SALON FOR A BLOW-OUT, OWNER CALLS IT 'SLAP IN THE FACE'

"Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having a beauty parlor opened, when all others are closed, and for not wearing a Mask–despite constantly lecturing everyone else," the president tweeted Wednesday. "We will almost certainly take back the House, and send Nancy packing!"

Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only.

Salon owner Erica Kious, in an exclusive phone interview with Fox News on Tuesday, shared details of Pelosi’s visit. Kious explained she has independent stylists working for her who rent chairs in her salon.

“One of the stylists who rents a chair from me contacted me Sunday night,” Kious said.

A screengrab of the text message she received from one of her stylists, and obtained by Fox News, said: “I’ll be there at 2:45 tomorrow. Pelosi assistant just messaged me to do her hair.”

Kious replied: “Pelosi?”

“I was like, are you kidding me right now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?” Kious told Fox News, while noting that she "can’t control” what her stylists do if they rent chairs from her, as “they’re not paying” at this time.

Kious cast Pelosi’s visit as a double standard.

“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious told Fox News, adding that she “can’t believe” the speaker didn’t have a mask on. (From the footage, it appears Pelosi had some kind of covering around her neck.)

“We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right?” Kious said. “It is just disturbing.”

RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY: 'AMERICANS HATE THIS KIND OF ELITISM'

The president, on Wednesday, added that “the Beauty Parlor owner must really dislike Crazy Nancy Pelosi. Turning her in, on tape, is a really big deal.”

“She probably treats him like she treats everyone else…And she strongly supported a Kennedy who just lost in, of all places, Massachusetts!” Trump added.

Asked for comment, Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill maintained that the speaker was following the rules as presented to her.

“The speaker always wears a mask and complies with local COVID requirements. This business offered for the speaker to come in on Monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business. The speaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment,” he said.

But the owner pushed back.

Kious said Pelosi received a wash and a blow-dry, but told Fox News that “you’re not supposed to blow dry hair” according to coronavirus safety precautions for hair salons.

“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t – it’s a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.

“I have been fighting for six months for a business that took me 12 years to build to reopen,” she explained. “I am a single mom, I have two small children, and I have no income.”

She added: “The fact that they did this, and she came in, it’s like a slap in the face.”

Hypocrisy anyone ?

Yep, again trump is an idiot. He never wore a mask even while visiting "hospitals/factories/war vets" and here he complains about another person not doing the same in a "hair salon", yes he is a dam hypocrite.

Dave Rubin on Pelosi's salon visit: Political class operates one way while rest of us 'scrounge for survival'

'She’s really at the Marie Antoinette let them eat cake phase of this thing,' he said

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is “going to live however she wants and her constituents will live another way,” political pundit and author Dave Rubin told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday.

Rubin, who spoke from Los Angeles, made the comment reacting to Pelosi’s visit to a California hair salon earlier this week, which was captured on security footage showing her walking through the salon with wet hair and without a mask over her mouth or nose. The stylist doing her hair can be seen in the video following her wearing a black face mask.

On Wednesday, President Trump slammed Pelosi for "constantly lecturing everyone else" after she visited the San Francisco hair salon earlier this week despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

When host Steve Doocy asked Rubin what he thinks “about the hypocrisy,” he said, “That little video should be the video of 2020 because that sums up, with no audio, it sums up exactly what the Democrats have decided to do, which is, ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’”

He went on to say, “This stuff is not a joke because it is destroying people’s livelihoods.”

“I’m here in California and I’m fighting to try to keep a sane California because we’ve had a sane California in the past, let’s not forget that Ronald Regan was once the governor of California,” Rubin added.

He went on to note that he has “two friends actually who are hairstylists here in Los Angeles, both of them have closed their salons.”

“I get now what I assume is an illegal haircut in an open-air garage from one of them who's out of the business altogether, and she’s just doing me a favor, and I have another one whose got some makeshift thing out of her house and has one person at a time and knows that she can’t continue to make a living this way,” Rubin continued. “So when you see Nancy Pelosi do this, it’s very reminiscent of just what two months ago when she’s standing in front of her twin Sub-Zero fridges with her tons of ice cream, and she’s really at the Marie Antoinette 'let them eat cake' phase of this thing, which is she’s going to live however she wants and her constituents will live another way.”

Rubin was referencing Pelosi's appearance via livestream on CBS' "Late Late Show" in April, during which she showed host James Corden her elaborate ice cream collection while standing in front of a high-end, pricey refrigerator. Pelosi later posted the controversial clip on Twitter, with the caption: "We all have found our ways to keep our spirits up during these trying times. Mine just happens to fill up my freezer."

“Nancy Pelosi is pretending that she either didn’t know what the policy was that she helped put into place or that she didn’t even know that the salon was closed just for her,” Rubin said Wednesday. “I mean she didn’t think it was odd that nobody else was there.”

“We’re realizing that we have a political class who wants to operate one way, while the rest of us are going to have to scrounge for our survival and that is not a good recipe for a functioning society,” he continued.

In a statement, Pelosi's Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill said, "The speaker always wears a mask and complies with local COVID requirements."

"This business offered for the speaker to come in on Monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business," Hammill continued. "The speaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment."

There is a lot more important shyte for trump to consume his day with rather than spreading gossip about a woman getting a dam haircut. This is the nonsense he does and his followers jump up and get all excited..their little minds act that way.

As noted clearly in the news, Nancy Pelosi stated clearly that it was her understanding that the hair cut session was arranged for one person at a time.

It was also stated that eventually revealed that it was a set-up to get her-Nancy Pelosi at the saloon to show that she was not adhering to the general process of having a mask.

Nancy Pelosi apologize for falling for the set-up.
