It is pretty. The whole area is nostalgically pretty.  Lots of woods but also close to upscale  malls....six within 5 to 15 mins.  Unfortunately, there is a building madness going on and I fear much of the woods not federal parks already would be gone in the next five years.

The author of  "Uncle Tom's Cabin" Harriet Beecher Stowe was also an 'abolitionist' and and at one time lived next door to Mark Twain another American author in Hartford Connecticut.Today both houses are Museum.
