[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have confirmed that popular radio personality and disc jockey, Curtis ‘Casual’ Armstrong along with Sean Hinds were shot in the Car Park at the Providence Stadium, East Bank Demerara.

According to the Police, at about 04:10h today Monday April 21, Armstrong, 34 years, of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, was involved in an argument and subsequent scuffle with two men in the car park at the Providence Stadium.

Sean Hinds, 30 years, of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, intervened and one of the two men pulled out a firearm and shot Curtis Armstrong to his abdomen and left hand, and Sean Hinds to his left foot, after which they escaped.

Curtis Armstrong and Sean Hinds have been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital.

I am sure that the Guyanese Taxpayers are paying for the loses that had been accrued years after years. I am surprised that the corrupt PPP/C did not go to Parliament and beg for more money to run this Stadium.

Yes.  This is what Guyanese have to service this debt in HARD CURRENCY, and it is used mainly as a new Thirst Park.

 

I will like the PPP hacks to tell me how much foreign currency does this venue earn.  Most of the few cricket matches which are held in the Caribbean now go to the tourist islands.   I believe even St Kitts, with their pocket sized grounds, are getting some matches.

Yes.  He was deported from Barbados and refused a visa for the USA or Canada!  This is what the prospect of being trapped in Guyana created.
