UH??????????
What is the purpose of this post? this was dated 6th August 2020, it was in anticipation of post election violence by the black PNC TUGS.
There is Law and Order now, even the Land thieves got caught and many of the past government are being investigated.
SLOW day on GNI with recycled garbage.

How come it's not changed, the advisory is still effective.
It is not done day to day, but who can travel now with covid? most borders are closed.
Great that the advisory is still effective and there is a need to post every now and then as a reminder and especially for anyone who might have missed it. There are many members and non members who read GNI. This is a great service to the Community at large, especially in the diaspora.

Not only COVID ,Crime is another factor.
This advisory has been for the entire reign of the PNC government 5 years and 5 months. Remember, the PPP officially took office early August and this advisory dated 6th August. This was extended in anticipation of violence during change of government, it has become a routine in Guyana politics.
Nothing to be alarmed about, as a matter of fact crime is on the decline.

I remember some idiot(s) try to do so but was turned back.
I believe this advisory has been around since Guyana attained Indeoendence. The dam place has never been safe regardless who is in power.
The advisory is valid, now that the GY airport is open again and some airlines will be flying from the US.

You conveniently forgot that Guyana was the Drug capital under the PPP and more crimes went unsolved during their regime. Tell how many PPP top guns lost their visas to Canada and the USA.
