These jackasses really believe that Guyana will now become a hub for oil processing? Exxon clearly stated their intention to process the oil elsewhere. In fact the oil will never see Guyana's shore except as an end produce via gasoline.

Government needs to stay out of that which they don't understand. Give incentives to Exxon to build facilities, but it makes no sense to incur the risk if Exxon decides not to use.

Wales also needs to be shut down if it is not needed for Guysuco's sustainability.  Interesting that some folks think that a particular ethnic group- must receive subsidies, because they definitely wouldn't have endorse this for any industry other than sugar or rice.

Granger has two problems. One he has no ideas, and two he cannot multi task. So before this year everything was Jubilee. Now that's over he can only think of oil.

In any other Caribbean nation the voices of the private sector would be quite loud. BOTH in terms of specific plans that they had to develop the economy, and also in terms of measures that they would expect the government to implement in order to facilitate this.

We don't hear anything from the private sector about what they plan to do.

When the private sector remains quiet it allows some political types to think that gov'ts role is to engage in ventures that they don't understand.

BTW the PPP had the same plan for Crab Island, so why suddenly do some PPP frauds think that it is a bad idea? When many of us said the same thing about the PPPs plans we were accused of being jealous of Jagdeo.

Its amazingly how some don't even pretend to be objective.

You are right afro KKK. How about those Linden electricity subsidies? Stop it and risk the entire conflagration of Linden and surroundings. For you, subsidies are a god given gift to the blacks. Live off of your fellow man.

BOSAI the CHINESE are the biggest beneficiaries of the subsidy.

But this is what we can do. Sell GuySICKO and offer the tens of thousands of laid off workers cheap electricity.

I already here you screaming that the light bill is one expense, and not the biggest and how "black man" preventing Indians from being able to feed, house and educate their families. Pity you didn't think that laid off bauxite workers deserve the same.

Coolies work for what they have. Go check Guyana prisons and see who are the majority.

Indians are the fastest growing group and their victims are almost always other Indians.  You all screamed "black man a kill ahbe" when you heard that those old people were killed and then among the murderers were Indians.

You all really ought to quit your Indo KKK behavior.  Screaming "blackman" every time a crime is committed, when increasingly the perps are Indians, has now put Indians at risk.
