This is a gun culture, with a constitutional amendment that guarantee the right to bear arms. The gum lobby is too powerful as a lobbying group. 

This is not going to end unless the right to bear arms is removed from the Constitution and the government develop a comprehensive plan to do so. Stricter gun laws is not going to do the trick. We await the next line of killing

There is a hidden element in the debate which no one talks about. That is the fact that some who believe in the right top bear arms are also afraid of minorities, going back to Reconstruction . They believe the browning of America will take away their white privilege....this is why reasonable people who talk about owning guns can be so irrational.

This right will never be repealed, alyuh relax.  Some tightening of rules will be done but we have to live with it.  America is still way safer than Guyana.

when yuh start comparing America to Guyana instead of First World countries, then things aint too good.

For one of the richest countries in the world it is a  very dysfunctional society.

Canada = 2

America = 288

Bottom line: It is easier access to Guns in the US and the NRA is too powerful of a lobby.
