Though we may disagree and are on opposite sides of the political fence i am not afraid nor ashamed to say that using his conduct on GNI as the basis for my assessment, Gerhard Ramsaroop is the best out of the AFC lot.
He is honest, demonstrates maturity, is knowledgeable on issues, he is less confrontational, less bitter (though he has more reason to be than the rest) and he has the guile and cunningness associated with a true politician.
Though Gerhard might not be as academically accomplished as Tarron Khemraj, Nigel Hughes, Sasenarine Singh and the rest, he is miles ahead of them in terms of his practice of politics and can surely influence far more people to support the AFC than they could ever in 200 years.

The funny thing about it though is that both Gerhard and Khemraj Ramjattan obtained all their political groundings in the PPP, the only party that has demonstrated an ability to take Guyana forward

Nothing funny about this Judge the PPP totally screwed up and caused many of their brightest in the party to flee. The PPP has only been able to retain and attract thugs and the most dunce people we have ever seen in Guyana.

Gerhard and Khemraj are the best to have come out of the PPP. BTW, Burnham came from the PPP too.

Fudge, it's not too late for you to make the Right turn.

He has conducted himself well on GNI, though I disagree with his wooden computer contraption as the AFC's alternative to the OLPF

The PPP's mill constantly produces good politicians. Testimony to this is our statement above. You killed your own argument when you stated that Gerhard and Khemraj were the two best leaders to have come out of the PPP. Where was the PPP before they both were born? I guessed the PPP died when they both left in 2006? Last time i checked the PPP was still able to win their largest majority with the absence of these two gentlemen

I am not making an argument. I corrected your misstatement. Read again very slow and tell us why Jagdeo had to covet a seat that the AFC won in the last election?

go back to history 101,the Jagans wERE co-founders, while Burnham was the law man. Burnham is the first man to set trend in Guyana, he went seperate ways and form his own party single handly and without that INDO COMMUNIST. Wink

I thought I explained the concept to you already. It is not a wooden computer. It is a matter of repositioning the OLPF to give people jobs rather than political gimmickry.

When the PPP put blinders on and give jobs to China or import Chinese nationals, the AFC will find smarter ways to keep Guyanese employed doing the same at home.
Its a win/win situation when jobs are kept at home and the economy grows.
Gerhard might not be Steve Jobs, but he is a hell lot more talented in skill and mannerism than you will ever be behind a keyboard, blogging for the PPP for just a few dollars.
