The blockage is right now happening in the road culverts.
The Minister spent 90 million digging the trenches but that is not enough.
MORE ACTION please.
The lady from Alboustown said - "me aint know what they do, they dig but every time it rains this happens."
The local communities should take responsibility for the situation as well. Many of these blockages are not act of God, but self inflicted. 23 years of voting PPP will take more than a couple of months to unblock and clean up. These folks also had that same 23 years to force their plight onto the political agenda. Why didn't they? But as soon as a new government comes along, they suddenly want miracles, without taking responsibility. Typical Guyanese low livers.
