What is your Org doing to help New Yorkers understand and be able to apply for NYC ID Cards. Where can someone go to get this card, what they need to take and so on.

(IDNYC) starts today at Libraries through NYC. It's for all NYC residents, not only (undocumented persons). 14 years and older can register online. The ID is free for the first year (I think). Our location is Merrick Blvd., Library.

I was at the Press Conference.
There are 8 locations, the local libraries will be or will direct all to their sites that are doing the processing.
We are working to make Lakshmi Narayan Mandir as an alternate site.
News in that the Libraries are jam packed with people that lined up from early morning to get their NYC-ID issued. The line at Merrick is about two hundred and only 60 numbers were given for the day. As much as it is important to obtain your ID, it is also important to contact the library before showing up.
The lines at the Library at Merrick was more than 3 blocks long in the freezing cold.
at this point the MOIA is offering just appointments.
All are asked to call 311 to avoid lines

Thanks for that update, Vish!
As of Now, 311 is asking for all to callback due to high demand.
