Brian trying to do two things. Butter his bread for jobs in the future, and cover his ass for the future investigations about corrupt construction contracts. I guess he left the PPP because there was not enough soup at the trough. I never heard him criticize the PPP in the 23 years he was getting contracts from them. The stories are numerous about duck curry and mutton parties with his friends in high places. He should explain how he made the deal to get the wharf in GT. Money in the future is Brian' rallying cry! Was he not one of the 5 B who were accused of running the country?  Brian is hoping that the more things change the more they stay the same. Hecwill find out that this might not be so.

You still nah listen to what Granger said. He wants to see what people are doing and how hard they are working under him. He ain't interested in how they performed under the previous administration. Guyana does not have an unlimited amount of companies and experts locally to call upon to do certain tasks. So we either have to sit on our hands and pray for a miracle, or give unreliable contractors and workers a last chance to turn round their bad practises. If they mess that last chance up as well then it will be time to cut their tail.

The Army should have a core of engineers with full knowledge of these issues since they should be part of disaster defence.

Georgetown is less than 50 square miles so it should be a simple task to manage the water accumulation. We have years to know if it is ever possible or if it is time to move it up the Linden highway.
