You belly muss ah karbarai fuh guh back and visit. Guyana is just a memory for most of us now. Sometime I wish I could close my eyes and wake up in Guyana with my whole family like the old days. I never thought I would say good bye to Guyana forever.
Guyana was never our home. We just passed through to another land. My home is Bihar, India where my foreparents lived for thousands of years. As proven by my DNA test.

That's right. The racist Burnham wanted to wipe us out.
Canada is home for me. Even though I have property in Guyana, it is just a place to visit occasionally but definitely not under the crime haven AFC/PNC.
Nice video Amral.
Our future generations will never know of a place called Guyana. Relatively speaking we barely spent a little over a hundred years there. History will never remember that. Our future generations will link their history to India and not Guyana.

Very accurate.
My children have no connection with or any interest in Guyana. They have keen interest in their Dharma and want to visit Haryana, India. Home of our Bramhana ancestors (DNA confirmed).
Individuals have varied views on ancestry and their places of origin.
For me ...
1. I am from Guyana now living in Canada.
2. From records, most of my ancestors are from Kashmir.
3. I gave my properties freely to my relatives and a few friends before departing to live in Canada.
4. While people know that I am a Canadian citizen, they are interested also to know about Guyana.

Yuji, you and drugb have a common theme. Nothing passes you guys without injecting politics and race into everything. A country is like your mother. Even when she is no longer with you, you still ache when you see her picture or hear someone mentioned her name.
Go ahead and dig it up in me now.

Kashmir?? Really?? Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Do a DNA test and get back to me.

Then why did you not post in the Social Forum ?
This is a Political Discussion Forum, everything here is political. You should stop making political comments and hang out in social.
Shakira has been saying she's a Kashmiri princess. Now DG her relative is claiming to be Kashmiri.

God willing, you and your ilk never get to even sniff political power in Guyana again
This is the kind of thinking by too many that criminalized the state under the previous Guyana government,
viewing Guyana as a won carcass to rip apart, enrich yourselves and repair to another (even, any other) "home"
deep, very deep
