He will get a defense attorney at his disposal and entitled to due process in a court of law in the United States. I would like to sit in on the trial to hear his attorney make the opening remarks to the judge. 

I think he should plead innocent and blame his action on the master's voice in his head that tells him to kill like Balgobin in Guyana.

…daughter reacts to father hacking wife to death

[NY Post] – The daughter of a woman killed and nearly decapitated on a Queens Street allegedly by her jealous husband said her father had been threatening to kill her for years.

“My dad was a very bad person, my mom didn’t deserve to die like that,” Shalhi Ronaldo Ramjaiwan, 30, told The Post in a phone interview from her home in Guyana.

Police said Prem Rampersaud, 50, stabbed his wife and tried to saw off her head in front of witnesses Monday around midnight because he believed she was cheating on him. He was still wearing his pajama bottoms as he was escorted by officials from the 106th Precinct Monday afternoon to the Queens courthouse, where he was expected to be arraigned on murder charges.

But Rampersaud’s daughter said he’s been looking for any excuse in the book to kill the mother of his four children. “He was a drunken type, he always threatened he would kill her,” she said.

A woman renting an apartment to Rampersaud said he came to New York from Guyana two weeks ago on a tourist visa and was looking for work. “He said his wife was cheating on him, but that was BS,” she said. “I called his daughter in Guyana, they have four kids together, three girls and one boy.”

Rampersaud told cops he was angry because he believed his wife – who got to the city a year ago — had made a date online with another man.

Did the daughter ever registered a complain with police since the man made these threatening remarks about her mother? This threat was made a long time before and she knows about it and did nothing. Now she is speaking with regrets. She acknowledged he is a monster while the man was still sleeping with her mother. There is something about this case that doesn't adds up.

One story in the news stated that the man's daughter showed him a picture with the sweetman and his wife (the victim) that enraged the man to end the woman's life. It seem that the man and his wife has children from previous marriage.
