The title of this thread is misleading. Didn't the US invade Iraq to "save" and "defend" the Iraqis from Saddam?

You cannot fool the losers of a war with that crap. Almost everyone on the streets will tell you that the country was much better under Saddam. The war may be over but the pain trauma and defilement for many would last a life time and we will continue to honor our service men and women, unfortunately among them, would be hundreds of rapist and dregs of society parading as heroes.
