My heart goes out to this woman who suffered tremendously when her husband died and she slept beside his dead body. Her life's end as a direct result of depression. Depression is one of the major causes of suicide in Guyana. Many people like this woman could have been saved if there were proper medical facilities to deal with her problems.

The story is the reality in Guyana, but the photograph is distasteful and should be removed.

A while ago someone posted a picture of a young  girl head separately from her body. She had a pleasing face with beautiful black hair, like  our daughter and I still cannot get that image out of my mind. How frightened she must have been,  before being beheaded. I was not interested in looking at this picture either.  Its very sad and the hurt that is left with relatives.

To see beautiful young women in Guyana afterwards, who took  their own life, is hard to take. Sometimes its done for insignificant reason, by our standard.
