The owner of KN and Mr Ramotar are very good friends. Yes it appears like the PPP can use the taxing agencies as a political weapon against opponents to extract concessions. Glen Lall don't get along with Jagdeo, but he is very close to the President. How much he can control his editorial team is yet to be seen. His paper will be dead if he tries to become another Guyana Times. This is why I have always maintained that SN is the only serious free and independent newspaper in GUyana. Should The Alliance win the revenue authority has to be completely cleaned.

Todays headline quoting Rohee that the AFC is dead is just one of that.

Do not forget that the PPP made a deal with Glen Lall and serectly drop all the charges against him.

Headlines apart, there's another subtle change lately.

Kaieteur News had dropped PPP writers from its Peeping Tom column some months ago. They're now back.

Peeping Tom is the space KN gives to the political parties on a rotation basis.

yuji22 is slow on the uptake. He still calls KN 'toilet paper', the same paper his PPP uses to vent their propaganda.

Have to agree that Stabroek News maintained their integrity of the years.
