Stormy, you may not be wrong BUT I will take my chances with a PPP Govt any day. The PNC has NEVER made Guyana prosperous. The Guyanese people(all of the Guyanese people) never saw Guyana more progressive and prosperous than during the period 1992 to 2015. Right now people are suffering in large numbers, Businesses are shrinking, CORRUPTION is done with very large amounts of taxpayers money being funneled in individuals pocket and to big Business. The poor and those not connected are suffering!!

No party has made us prosperous. The Miami effect of drugs and crony capitalism is not prosperity.  What is happening now is a direct consequence of the grotesque failures of the PPP.

You idiots here have access to one of the most concerned and studious economist of your lifetime in your midst, TK, help yourself by reading his postings. But as they say with prophets, they remain unknown even among their own.  Indian people are a hell of a lot worse off because of the PPP and the possibility of a vengeful PNC in office means they  may feast on that wormwood for a while yet. The few spending obscene cash should not fool you. It is the case always when crony capitalism is the norm.

 Just for the record....the PPP has proven themselves completely unfit for our people ( Guyanese) and they are responsible for the PNC  from its original instance to now. The PPP is that Nothing created when people fail to think.  They created that vengeful beast that sees and knows Indians care little for them. The PNC would not exist if they did not have the PPP to play off.

It would be juvenile if you demonstrate the wherewithal to contest what is stated...the PPP reeks of corruption, ruined every last one of our industry, existed by crony capitalism and treated black Guyanese as incidental. They were tasked to transition us into democracy but instead the created a kleptocracy by embracing ( that which they rejected as a fraud) the burnham constitution and strengthened its autocracy hence the predicate to our enduring political racist schism.
