on this road to making money from oil. Put pressure for the money to be invested in making Guyana a safer and healthier place for Guyanese.

Some people screaming about the deal, but keep in mind that Guyana is not putting in any money in this venture. They just gonna sit back and collect.

Guyana needs good accountants, economists and financial advisors

Are you saying that the current government is not capable? Are they kleptocrats? Don't you trust them?

The idiotic prime minister is gleefully talking about investing Guyana's oil dollars in a national airline.  This man need a good head-butt to shake up his thinking.  Airline business is the worst business to get into. If the Guyanese people want to see their country's money squandered at lightening speed let them tell their government to invest in an airline. In any case I don't think the real buck from oil going to pour in until around 2025. The economy is on a downward slide and the situation will only get worse. Too much dependence on that big welfare check.

Guyana needs good accountants, economists, and financial advisors? What?

They are the biggest thieves. Jagdeo, Ashni, and Grennidge were all good accountants. Now they are filthy rich.

When Jagdeo blocked Greenidge from finding work in Guyana he went elsewhere.  Jagdeo rode a bicycle before the PPP came into power and then was immediately involved working as a civil servant and then as a minister.

Given that salaries in Guyana didn't allow people to become millionaires one can only ponder about how Jagdeo became one.

On this I agree.  If Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, with their huge tourism and a much larger populations (at home and abroad) than Guyana why do folks continue to think that Guyana can have an airline.

A national carrier will be like GAC, GA 2000, Universal, and now apparently Fly Jamaica.  A one plane entity giving its passengers heart rending distress.  Guyana cannot support a large carrier if the DR and Jamaica couldn't.

Even T&T at some point might query why Caribbean Airlines even as they have had an airline now for over 75 years if we include the BWIA era.
