Wickedness aside. The APN an you will not relinquish the reins of power without a fight. If that were the case, they would have done so a long time ago. Lots of truths in what you say there bhaiya. We, however, cannot overlook how peacefully the PNC gave up the offices they held for more than two decades. Ramotar announced the date for elections on the very day he prorogued parliament. He did not indulge in any of the shenanigans that the Coalition has been involved in since the passage of the NCM.
I do need to correct myself here. The Coalition's shenanigans did not begin when the NCM was passed. They started a whole month earlier when Jagdeo sought to have the NCM in November but all of the Coalition parliamentarians were a sudden no show on that Friday in November before they reappeared the following week insisting that the NCM can't take place before the budget vote. The oil is not necessarily the curse. It is the politicians and in particular the PNC politicians who are cursed.

We can't swear for what anyone would do in the future but so far, the PPP has never not handed over the keys to power whether it was in 1964 or 2015. The PNC can't honestly make the same claim.

I don't have any problem with Sheik's perspective bai. I think it is reasonable although the PPP would have to completely turn into the PNC to get anywhere near the level of wickedness that the PNC has.
