Went to the PPP meeting in Essequibo.  PPP winning Essequibo hands down.

Call it the Jagdeo blowback! Up to last year LAPOP had 7.1% Blacks and 22% Mixed people identifying with PPP. There has to be a reversal given the most openly racist election campaign I have ever witnessed since my first vote in 1992. It's a matter now of wallet versus principle. Will the patronage be enough to keep them? I don't think so.

PPP will lose but will not give up power.  IT will have to be taken from them after Jimmy Carter pronounce on the fairness.

PPP will win most Indian votes.  The question will be how many younger Indians will vote coalition, what inroads will the coalition make in Regions 1 and 9.  And what the turnout will be in PNC strongholds in Regions 4, 7, and 10.

Waht an ASININE statement but we should not be surprise

When another elected dictator, Denzil Douglas of St Kitts Nevis tried to delay announcing election results (possibly to have time to destroy incriminating documents) the heads of state of Trinidad & Tobago, Dominica, St Lucia and the Bahamas PUBLICLY condemned him, and several others called him privately.  Even fellow elected dictator Ralph Gonzalves also public condemned the behavior.

Guyana as a HIGHER profile within CARICOM, so the blow back will be more severe.

In fact all other CARICOM nations will have to do is to threaten to withdraw their diplomatic support for Guyana in their border disputes with Suriname and Venezuela. The ABC nations will threaten sanctions.

The PPP will be out of there.
