[www.inewsguyana.com] – A four year old nursery student of Somerset and Berks village on the Essequibo Coast was allegedly brutally raped by his 15 – year – old uncle on Sunday afternoon (October 6).

Reports indicate that the mother of the little boy had left him along with two smaller siblings in the care of her brother while she went on an errand at Charity when the incident occurred.

According to reports from a close family member, upon the return of the mother, she found the child crying and bleeding from the anus. iNews understands that the mother who was shocked and confused quickly called out to neighbors for help.

The child was rushed to the Charity hospital and examined by doctors. A medical certificate was issued. The incident was reported to the Charity Police station and officers quickly visited the scene where the act was committed. However, the 15 – year – old teenager is currently in hiding.
