It takes an eternity to get past Guyana Discussion forums, and when it does, then it takes another eternity to get to the actual forums

In Guyana they say wait is a heavy load. I have the same experience. It could be just a big hoopla. 
I have no problems accessing the forum.
Too much clicking. At first, I like it but now I just read and not post.
If I forget to click off "watch this topic" at the bottom of "Post Reply" my mail box get junked up.
If I don't do the same for topics I opened I get notification of posts. It's a nuisance.
I feel the opposites should be the defaults.
Yes, it's slow opening most of the times and it seems as if it takes forever to post.
It is back to normal again, no more waiting.

Go to your profile and on the menu at the top left click on my notifications. Uncheck all or the ones you are not interested in.
No, you have to edit from your profile. Click on your photo at the top of the page then on .....edit profile, on the left hand menu you will see ...My notifications....uncheck all.
don the functionality of the Forum include the ability to customize it with script and add ons? There are lots of functionality absent in t his compared to eve and just to meet the comfort level of moving from one system to another should include the ability to modify the interface.
