If the AFC cannot reach an agreement with APNU and decided to breakaway and contest the 2020 election as an independent party?

That's not my concern here, Chief.
Ppl have already lost trust in the AFC, they lost every other election prematurely when they joined hands with the APNU, additionally based on the voting pattern at the previous election ppl voted the same way last election, hence the reason for the coalition's victory.... Guyanese are known to vote race at elections, and I think (stand corrected) that 57% of Indians make up the populace, which means the ppp will win and we back to "square one", putting square pegs in round holes.... this would be a nice forum to initiate a campaign for some new political minds on the scene of Guyana politics

Wrong stat...39 percent. They have to persuade amerindians or mixed to their side to make up the rest and that is not easy

1 The agreement is an internal personal matter between the PNC and AFC.
2. If the AFC decides to leave the government, they can freely do so.
3. PNC will then nominate its own members to fill the positions.
4. Of note, the said composition does not mean that should the AFC leave the coalition, it can have its members and then sit an independents.
5. Also of note, the current composition of the PNC and AFC is totally unlike the previous composition of the PNC and The United Force in 1964.
