Unfortunately Basil Williams has already dumbed down the expectation of the Judicial system in Guyana that the argument above while very sound will fall on blind eyes. It is still pertinent to insist that nowhere in that article I there the word absolute. Those two judges who insist that the article calls for an absolute majority had to be under the influence of Absolut vodka or blinded by party preference. Judge cannot be accused of siding with any party because he based his argument strictly on language and mathematics. Unfortunately the other two judges demonstrated either deficiencies in both language and mathematics or blind support for the PNC.
